“Philosophical problems arise when language goes on a holiday” -Wittgenstein.

I spend all of my time doing philosophy. This has resulted in 1- me looking at the world in a way that very few people would understand and 2- extreme difficulties in communicating to other people what im really trying to say.
There comes a point in the life of a theorist when what their mind comprehends is of the Universal, and they are then forced to try to use the language of what only applies to the Particulars when trying to describe their Thoughts .

As if one discovered an endless sea of golden fleece. And one were supposed to prove that the sea is endless to villagers who had not bothered to make the trek over mountains and deserts to see it. All that can be done is to show what little of the sea has been brought back in a plastic container, insisting that there’s an infinite supply of it.

This is what language is to a philosopher.

It is for this reason that I’ve started to think largely in terms of music. Beethoven is called the Universal Composer, and for very good reasons. Music is the only way that I know of expressing, or reflecting, the deepest emotions and thoughts. It’s also the only way you could ever get a roomful of Italians, Chinese, Germans, and Brits to all shut up, and think the same thing.

PS- you might want your headphones handy. And with some of the videos such as Strand 9, in which I’ve pointed to a particular part of the video, please feel free to fast forward to the times I’ve noted.

Dedicated to a memory.

Evolution is transformation, not generation of life.  There is no begining, no end.

The Thesis , Antithesis and Synthesis

1:05-1:30 : sound of new Conception of Ideas. Synthesis of Thought. Dialectic runs infinitely. from Two, One.

Ok smarty pants, who is She?

She is Beauty itself. Beauty does not have flesh. Beauty is what the Good strives towards, and what is necessary for it to create Justice.

She is the nameless, immortal, ethereal One.

our song

The Good is the source of all light, and one cannot love, without loving the Whole of the Good.

Absolute Knowing.

The end of all thought. The point in which the level of knowledge moves from Belief to Understanding. Go to the end of concious thought, and she will be there, standing with you in the light.

What is love? It’s what drove the writer of this symphony.
It doesn’t sound pleasant, or easy. It’s chaotic. It goes through separate stages of life and death. Always dying, and coming back. It’s the sound of resurection (19:11-20:00),rebirth(20:08-20:48) and then seeing the Light (20:50-20:59)

It’s when the soul knows it doesn’t have to go any further (20:59-22:25).
It’s the shock of joy and disbelief that your prayers have been answered (22:58-23:46).

The Complete Works of Plato comes down to one thing – a mans relationship with his wife.
